The concept is to have a group of artists bouncing off one another. Associative-Automatism-surrealist-responsive. The objective is to creatively react to one another’s posts. Somewhat like an exquisite corpse. We want to create an amorphous, organic community.
The rules
-No Voyeurs-
everyone contributes. Ideally everyone should post something at least once a month.
-Originality points Do Not count-
but give credit where credit is due. All mediums are welcome. Writing/visual/performance/video/etc. all that I ask is try and stay away from the viral meme internet stuff. This is not the venue to show off the latest craze.
-allow for the appreciation of the individualities of experience-
there should be little to no explanations of the work. The point is to allow others to create their own associations, to flow from one thing to the next, without being bogged down with the “whys” of something. Along those lines, the posts are not the venue for judgments or critiques. Those can occur in the comments, emails, facebook, etc.
-no snark-
not that this really needs to be said, but just in case. Be excellent to one another. We’re all art lovers and can appreciate the variety that entails.
-no vapidity or indifference-
we all feel something about everything. Formulate responses accordingly.
